First of all you will have to excuse my lack of posts this month, I have been quite busy.
Last week I worked in a film set for the first time as an extra. A couple of months ago I decided to do something with my life now that I am unemployed and with a lot of free time. I joined a models agency and I have been looking for jobs in the movie business.
Last week I worked for two days non stop in a film set of a Spanish movie (I won’t reveal its name ’cause it’s top secret!) and loved the experience, although it is exhausting. Working from 7am to 7pm is not healthy ahah. Working as an extra is not a big thing, but you get to see how movies are made and be in the same room as movie stars, although it’s not Hollywood.
And now here come my thoughts about something I was told by several people during the filming: Become a model, yes or no?
People close to me have told me that I could model for Vintage-inspired brands, such as Collectif Clothing or Lindy Bop, among others. My friends and followers on Instagram always compliment me about my styling and I often get asked for a photograph on the street. That doesn’t happen to many girls out there, does it?
I am really considering this. I am not perfect and my body is not the best in the world, but I love being photographed and sharing my passion for vintage, although where I live (Spain) it is nearly impossible to succeed in this area (vintage fashion and modeling). Anyway, I think I will try! If you never try, you never know! 😉
