Vintage Illustrators: Bill Medcalf

Here’s another post under my Vintage Illustrators series. I love vintage illustrations so much that  had to start a series of blog posts featuring some of my favorite illustrators from yesteryear. Today’s vintage illustrator is Bill Medcalf, known for his series of pin up girls during the 40s, 50s and 60s.

He became famous because of his illustrations of young and beautiful women surrounded often by cars or in a glamorous aesthetics. He was often asked for commissions on calendars and other publications.

Oh! And while looking for some of his illustrations, I found that most of their pin up girls are redheads!
Hope you are all ok, have a great week and hope you enjoyed this quick post!
