Less than a week for Riverside Crazy Car Hop, and that officially kicks off the Rockabilly Weekender Season. Right after the Calafell based festival we’ll relax by the sea at Screamin’ in Calella and in early September the coolest cats in town will not miss High Rockabilly.
With that in mind, I’ve put a quick list of essentials to must bring with you while on holiday. Let’s get the party started, shall we?
Sunscreen
It might seem pretty obvious but if you’re going to a festival by the beach, do not forget your sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun.
Hair Pomade
Ever since I discovered the magic that this product can do to my hairstyles, I’ve never travelled anywhere without my can of Suavecita Pomade. Smells so good and helps keep my curls in place.
A good pair of cigarette pants
Rockabilly Weekenders are all about fancy clothing and the glam life, but you can also look spectacular in cigarette pants. I’ve recently discovered Piplotex and I’m absolutely in love with their designs!
Hair flowers
These accessories have become my favorite when it comes to tropical and tiki inspired outfits. No Rockabilly weekender is complete without some tropical flowers spotted among the public. Check Lady Luck’s Boutique for gorgeous designs.
Sunglasses
Pretty obvious, isn’t it? You can even wait to buy a pair at the festival itself, where vendors always have classic cateye sunglasses. A must!
Flat shoes
Late night dances in high heels can be dangerous, so make sure to bring a pair of flats with you.
