Just like the great Yves Saint Laurent once said, “Accessories are what pull the whole look together and make it unique”. It’s impossible to disagree with his words. And today I’m glad to show you the incredible designs of Faraway Berlin, an accessories brand based in Germany.
Established in 2006, Faraway Berlin offer quality, originality and handmade pieces at reasonable prices. One of the things I really admire about them is that they put all the love and effort on creating their pieces, which means each design is really unique. Moreover, it’s important to support small independent businesses and those run by women.
One of the best things about Faraway Berlin is that they do not stick to the same designs: they are constantly introducing new shapes and creations! Something that makes it incredibly hard to avoid buying from them…Everything they have is so cute!
The ‘Love you to the moon and back’ brooch is one of their signature designs and a must have for all the midcentury and atomic era lovers out there. Accessories are essential in any pin up and vintage look, and to me it is really important to add a touch of colour and style to my outfits. Without accessories, I feel naked. Here I’m wearing their Lucite Glitter Gold Hoop Earrings, which can also be purchased in other colours.
Faraway Berlin are currently getting ready for Valentine’s Day with a new selection of designs perfect for those who love heart shaped designs and are in the mood for love. Last December I got to wear these Christmas inspired accessories (Snowflake earrings and Christmas Hair Clip) at a Car Show and I got so many compliments!
These accessories are also perfect for those who love to channel different styles and eras. Here I’m wearing their ‘Bowl Me Over’ earrings following a mod look. Who said these designs are only for rockers and pin ups?
These earrings have become a favourite!
If you’d like to add more colour and sass to your outfits make sure to visit their online shop. You’ll want everything! Faraway Berlin also do custom designs for special occasions.
Hope you all liked today’s post! Is there any accessory in particular you cannot live without? Comment below!
