Summer Fern [Lady Vintage]

Summer is finally here, which means it’s the time to wear hawaiian and tropical pieces everywhere I go. And by everywhere, I also mean the office. Today I’ll be reviewing the Annie Fitted Dress from Lady Vintage, a vintage reproduction brand from the United Kingdom. They’ve become a favorite! And it’s easy to see why.

Last year I reviewed one of their designs, and when I saw this fitted dress online, I knew I had to have it for this summer. I was really surprised by the high quality of their pieces, and this dress is no exception. This design features a stylish and colorful fern print with hibiscus flowers.

In terms of sizing, this dress is a bit big on me, especially in the hip area. For reference, I’m wearing a size 10. Maybe it’s because I’ve lost a bit of weight in the past year, but I could have gone for a smaller size. The dress fits perfect in the bust area and is definitely a design I could easily work to work. It’s a comfortable dress and the print is gorgeous.

I wanted to shoot this beautiful design surrounded by tropical plants and we were lucky to find a lovely park near where I live. The Annie Fitted Dress is one of a kind: it makes you stand out and the quality is beyond amazing. And I’m pretty sure I’ve already said it, but I love to wear a brand that design and produce their garments locally – all their dresses are made in the UK! -.

A tropical outfit wouldn’t be complete without hair flowers and bamboo accessories. Here I’m wearing these gorgeous tiki designs from Lady Luck’s Boutique, a UK based business specialized in anything tropical. Makeup by Besame Cosmetics and hair styled with Suavecita Pomade products.

Hope you liked today’s post! What’s your favourite thing about summer?
