2018 was probably my best year as I got to do a lot of things that filled me with joy. And now it’s time to set goals or new year resolutions for 2019 and try to accomplish them.
Walk in style [Rock N Romance]
November is coming to its final days and that means Christmas is just around the corner. This past weekend I decided to explore (again!) one of my favourite avenues in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia. And today wanted to show you a cute and elegant ensemble from Rock N Romance, one of my favourite vintage reproduction shops.
Black Friday 2018: shop small this year!
It’s that time of the year again: Black Friday has arrived! This coming Friday all the shops offer special discounts so that we can all save money for our Holiday shopping. Yes, the festivities are just around the corner…Time flies.
And just like I did last year, I’ve listed the shops that are offering discounts and special promotion tomorrow. Some are even having a sale until Monday.
But before checking the list, I’d like to remind you to support small businesses. Shopping small means big changes to these businesses and creators. That’s why I’ve listed small shops and businesses that I really love, make sure to check them out.

Keep Away From Runaround Sue [Vivien of Holloway]
I know it’s been a while since my last outfit review, but today I’m featuring a dress from one of my favorite brands: Vivien of Holloway. This UK based vintage reproduction clothing company specializes in 1940s and 1950s fashion, and has been around since 2000.
Miss Sixties Around The World: Las Vegas
Following my Miss Sixties Around The World Series, today it’s time to make a stop in Las Vegas. We wanted to visit Sin City (as they call it) to attend Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, which I’ll write about soon in another post, and let’s say it was wonderful. This is my second collaboration with artist Alice Negri, so make sure to read the post to find her amazing illustrated map of Las Vegas!
Summer Fern [Lady Vintage]
Summer is finally here, which means it’s the time to wear hawaiian and tropical pieces everywhere I go. And by everywhere, I also mean the office. Today I’ll be reviewing the Annie Fitted Dress from Lady Vintage, a vintage reproduction brand from the United Kingdom. They’ve become a favorite! And it’s easy to see why.
Miss Sixties Twist Around The World: Palm Springs
Now that it’s been two months since my trip to the United States and I’m finally settled in, I’d like to show you what I visited during my stay in the USA. One of the cities I wanted to visit the most was Palm Springs, right in the middle of the California desert. And just as I expected, it didn’t disappoint me.
Dance On Little Girl [El Marquès]
Besides dresses and skirts, t-shirts are another basic in my wardrobe. I’m not lying If I tell you I have over 50 different designs, either band merch, vintage inspired t-shirts or tees designed by illustrators such as El Marquès. I’m glad to feature on the blog the work of this Barcelona based artist known for his illustrations with a vintage touch.
Tropical Dreams [Rock n Romance]
I’m a sucker for anything with hawaiian print. And when it comes to spring/summer clothes, I like to wear comfortable dresses like the Charlene Shirtwaister Dress from Rock n Romance.
I have to admit that it’s become one of my favorite spring/summer dresses, and it’s easy to know why.
